Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was raised in an ethnically diverse family. The mother of her child is English while her father is Nigerian. She was raised in a south London council estate and attended The Brit School at age fourteen. She graduated with a BA in acting at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. The stage she appeared in was numerous productions during her time at school such as King Henry V, as Princess Katherine, and Wuthering Heights, as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe got her start in acting through a short film called Storm Damage. In the years since, she's had appearances as a guest in films like Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's first film of debut came from that of the Woody Allen 2007 film Cassandra's Dream. She starred with Colin Farrell & Ewan MacGregor. In the following year, she played Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally, she starred in Trexx as Ollie and six episodes in Flipside. In 2008 she landed Bambi's character on ITV2 Drama Series Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was in both series 2 and 3. Madekwe appeared in the comedy How to Lose Friends and to annoy people (2008). Her stage credits includes Little Sweet Thing or Roy Williams as well as Flight Path of David Watson.
Madekwe debuted in the US in the US with The Beautiful Life. The drama program ran in the US on The CW for only two episodes, before it was ended. Ashley Davenport was her role in the ABC drama Revenge. In May of 2013, it was announced that Madekwe, who been a series regular in the previous two seasons would be leaving the show following a guest appearance in the premiere episode of the season's new episode. She played Tituba on the television series Salem between 2014 and. Madekwe and her partner who has been with her for a long time, Iddo Goldenberg, were wedding in June of 2012. Both have appeared in Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They also starred as partners in Salem.

Ashley Leggat, an actress nominated twice for a Gemini Award, is a member of an extensive Hamilton family. Four of her older brothers were also present: twins Todd & Bram, Brett & Rob. The four brothers of Ashley, who were all extremely active, took part in hockey in the winter months and played baseball in the summers, meaning that she grew up playing in baseball and arenas. Ashley was not a walker, but she would dance. In the age of two and half, she found Baby Ballet. Ashley discovered a love for dancing when she began Baby Ballet. Ashley competed in tap, jazz and ballet at the top divisions. Ashley won the best soloist honor at each major dance competition, including International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, to name just a few.
